SALVATION ARMY BELL RINGING

St. Cyprian’s week for ringing the salvation Army bell at IGA will be December 11-16.  There will be 2-hour blocks of time to sign up for, between 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.  The funds raised will stay in Perry to assist our neighbors in need with food, utility bills, school supplies, etc.  These funds raised in the weeks before Christmas will be used throughout the year.  Since costs are continuing to rise, last year’s collection was depleted before October.  Please consider helping with this project.  The sign-up sheets are in the sacristy.  If you have any questions, call Donna Anderson 440-476-8191

ALTAR FLOWERS

Flowers for the Blessed Virgin have been donated by the Carolyn Rufo in memory of Theresa Randa.

ST. NICHOLAS CELEBRATION

December 3 will be the Ladies Guild annual St. Nicholas celebration!  St. Nicholas will be in the church and Alexander Hall after the 11 a.m. Mass with treat bags for the children.  There will be a photo opportunity, cookies, and punch.  Everyone is welcome to join in the fun! Remember to RSVP if you plan on making an Advent wreath! debbie@stcypriansparish.com

ADVENT WREATH CRAFT

On December 3rd from noon to 1pm, families are invited to come to Alexander Hall to make their own advent wreath.  We are asking for a $5 donation to cover the cost of the materials.  This is for children and an adult to work together to create an advent wreath.  Please RSVP to Debbie at debbie@stcypriansparish.com with the number of wreaths you plan to make and the number of family members that plan to attend by November 26th so the appropriate number of supplies are purchased.

BAPTISM CLASS

Baptism class can be taken before or after the birth of your child. The next baptism class at St. Cyprian will be Monday, December 4 at 7:35 p.m. in the Deacons’ office.  Please register in advance by calling 440-259-2344 ext. 0 or email Kelly@stcypriansparish.com

THE HIGHLIGHT OF SUMMER!

Join us next Sunday, August 6 for The FEST at the Center for Pastoral Leadership in Wickliffe.  For thousands across our region, it’s the highlight of the summer as we come together for an inspiring day of faith, family and fun – all for FREE.  Come and hear inspiring music (Chris Tomlin, Jeremy Camp, Big Daddy Weave, and Katy Nichole).  Wander around the 56-acre campus of the CPL and find opportunities for prayer, reflection, Confession and Adoration.  There are engaging displays and giveaway items for the adults along with lots of activities for the kids and grandkids (petting zoo, BMX shows, crafts and so much more).  Check out all the details at www.theFEST.us

EUCHARISTIC MIRACLES DISPLAY

In this year of Parish Eucharistic Revival, St. Cyprian Parish is pleased to be able to host the Diocesan Eucharistic Miracles Display chronicled by Blessed Carlo Acutis.  Blessed Carlo was a teenager from Italy who developed a website dedicated to the documented and scientifically scrutinized occasions when the Holy Eucharist changed in its physical appearance, reminding us that the bread and wine of the Mass truly become the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.  The display will be set up in Alexander Hall from August 18th through August 25th.  More details will be coming soon.  Keep your eye on the bulletin!
