There will be 2-hour blocks of time to sign up for, between 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. The funds raised will stay in Perry to assist our neighbors in need with food, utility bills, school supplies, etc. These funds raised in the weeks before Christmas will be used throughout the year. Since costs are continuing to rise, last year’s collection was depleted before October. Please consider helping with this project. The sign-up sheets are in the sacristy. If you have any questions, call Donna Anderson 440-476-8191

BAKE SALE!
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Their mission is to provide children around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. These children are presented with the Gospel but are also given the opportunity to participate in a 12-lesson discipleship course designed for Operation Christmas Child shoebox recipients. Stop by our bake sale after the 9 & 11 a.m. Masses today and August 20. All proceeds will assist our local youth in achieving their goal of packing and shipping 350 shoeboxes this year!

Thank you to everyone who donated to the youth group for Project Hope for the Homeless. We delivered around 200 lunch bags of personal items for guests at the house. The bags contained items for breakfast to go, items to keep warm with, and to help make sleeping cozy. We also donated the extras that we couldn’t make complete bags with. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and certainly doesn’t go unnoticed.
