THE PLACE TO BE NOVEMBER 30

Join Catholics across the country in Eucharistic Adoration on the eve of December 1 – the day the Supreme Court hears the landmark case that could end Roe v Wade. Adore Christ and pray any time after 8:30 a.m. Mass through 5:30 p.m. Rosary.

BAPTISM CLASS

Baptism class can be taken before or after the birth of your child. The next baptism class at St. Cyprians will be Monday, December 13 at 7:35 p.m. in the Deacons’ office. Please register in advance by calling 440-259-2344 ext. 0 or email Kelly@stcypriansparish.com

LENDING LIBRARY

St. Cyprian’s Pro-Life group Lending Library has a shelf with books, pamphlets and DVDs located in our lending library by the elevator door. There is information for children, teens, parents and anyone else interested in the Pro Life cause. You can find a book simplifying St. Pope John Paul’s Theology of The Body, pamphlets that tell the truth about Planned Parenthood, adoption, sex selection abortions, euthanasia and more. The DVD, Unplanned, will also be available for those interested. This is an excellent movie telling the true story of Abby Johnson, one of the youngest Planned Parenthood Clinic Directors in the nation, who was involved in more than 22,000 abortions. One day, what she saw changed everything, and she became an ardent Pro Life advocate. The film is rated R, because of two scenes showing blood, but there is no foul language or other criteria that require this rating. If you would like to borrow this DVD, call Donna Anderson at 259-1925.

Successful tutors don’t have to be professional educations. A high school diploma is required in addition to patience, kindness and passion to help one person at a time. Tutoring just one class a week is all it takes to change a life. Complete a volunteer application at seedsofliteracy.org/volunteer to be added to the training invitation list. Questions?
