PRIESTHOOD SUNDAY
This weekend, we celebrate Priesthood Sunday, we give thanks for the many priests who, with steadfast hope, continue to serve and give of themselves to Christ’s Body, the Church. So too, we are filled with gratitude as we celebrate and pray for our seminarians who are signs of hope for the future of the Church in the Diocese of Cleveland. Give thanks for the gift of priests that you have known throughout your life. Pray that the Holy Spirit may inspire more men to discern this call of service.
FEAST OF ALL SAINTS & ALL SOULS
The Feast of All Saints is Saturday, Nov. 1 and the Feast of All Souls is Sunday, Nov. 2. We will celebrate a morning Mass at 9 a.m. on Nov. 1, and a special memorial service will take place after the 5 p.m. Mass where we will remember all those who died this past year and all our departed loved ones and parishioners.
ST. CYPRIAN HOLIDAY CRAFT SHOW
The Ladies Guild will be hosting our 15th annual Craft Show and Bake Sale on Saturday, November 8th from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. As usual, we will have food for purchase, a Chinese auction and free entry. Crafters interested in participating should contact Chris Camuendo at: st.cypriansladiesguild@yahoo.com. Please spread the word and plan on attending!
VETERANS MASS & LUNCH
On Sunday, November 9, the 11 a.m. Mass will be dedicated to the brave men and women who have served or are currently serving in our military, along with their families. After Mass, there will be a military appreciation lunch and ceremony at 12:17 p.m. in Alexander Hall. We invite all Veterans, those currently serving and their families, including the families of deceased Veterans, to join us. You are encouraged to wear your veteran attire and share a story about your military service. For food planning purposes, please RSVP by completing the bulletin insert that will be included in next weekend’s bulletin. You may also contact Tom Anderson 440-259-1925 (please leave a message) by November 5.
FILL THE BOOT
St. Cyprian Parish Council will have their annual “Fill the Boot” campaign November 15-16 at all Masses. The funds collected will go to The Perry Center to purchase items for children, especially shoes and boots, for Christmas. Let’s make sure the children in need in our community have a nice Christmas! Thank you in advance for your generosity.
BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE
Use your All Souls Day envelope found in your packet to write the names of the loved ones you want to be added to our Book of Remembrance. These names will be read at weekday Masses throughout the month of November. Please be sure to print names clearly and drop in the basket no later than Sunday, November 23.
VETERANS MEMORIAL BOOK
If you have a deceased family member or a friend who served in the military, we would like to include them in our Veterans Memorial Book. The book is available at the back of the church near the center aisle.
CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD
St. Cyprian Children’s Liturgy of the Word takes place during 11 a.m. Mass on Sundays. Preschool aged children and older are welcome to join us as we leave Mass before the readings and return during the Offertory. This is a time for the children to hear the word of God in their own way with activities.
PERRY CENTER WISH LIST
