There will be no PSR classes Monday, February 17 or Tuesday, February 18 in observance of Presidents’ Day.  Classes will resume February 24 - 25

Thank you, St. Cyprian Parish Council for hosting the Super Bowl Sunday Pancake Breakfast and thanks to all that attended. This event made a profit of $416!

The Perry Center is our local food pantry supported by the churches in our community and private donations.  For the month of February, The Perry Center is requesting peanut butter.  There are boxes located at each entrance of our church.  Thank you for helping those in need in our community.

Ladies Guild will host our annual Mardi Gras on February 22 at 6 p.m.  The cost is $10 per person.  Please bring either an appetizer or a side dish that serves 10-12.  Call Anne Zalar at 440-669-9500 for reservations.  The deadline for reservations and payment is February 17.  No tickets will be sold or held at the door.  Music will be provided by DJ Dan Nichols.  Save the date and join us for a fun parish event!

Flowers for the Blessed Virgin have been donated by Nancy Sutula in memory of Joan Sutula.

Wednesday, March 11, our parish and all of the parishes in the Diocese will offer “An Evening of Confession” from 5-8 p.m.  Parishioners are asked to evangelize by inviting family or friends who are away from the Church to join in this special Lenten practice.  Priests at all parishes will be present for the sacrament of Reconciliation.  More information is available at welcomecatholics.com.  

In order to support the human formation of the seminarians at Saint Mary Seminary, the Student Activities Staff and all the seminarians of Saint Mary’s Seminary are putting on a Winter Festival fundraiser in order to have monetary resources to use for various activities throughout the year.  These formational community activities include events like attending the Cleveland orchestra, going to a Cleveland Indians game or visiting other cultural venues in the area.  The Winter Festival fundraiser is held at the Campus for Pastoral Leadership and features great food of Eastern Europe, raffle opportunities and an overall good time.  This fundraiser will be held on Friday, February 21.  See our church entrances for more information.

Father George would like to continue the pilgrimage of our Blessed Mother. Families can take a statue of our Blessed Mother home for a week and pray that she will intercede, on behalf of the family, with her Son – Jesus Christ.  For more information or to schedule a week for your family please call Linda 440-205-1954 or leave your contact information with Father George or one of the deacons before or after Mass.  You may also call parish office 440-259-2344 ext. 3 

Immaculate Conception Madison will be hosting 33 Days to Merciful Love.  The 6 week group retreat journeys into the heart of St Therese of Lisieux’s Little Way.  It includes work-books, group discussion and talks on DVD by Fr Michael Gaitley MIC and culminates in a consecration to Divine Mercy.  TIMES: Monday’s (beginning Feb 24) at 9:15 in the chapel OR Thurs (beginning Feb 27) at 7:45 in the parish center.  $10 donation for materials.  Call ICC parish office by Feb 17 to register.
