Weekly Announcements

ST. CYPRIAN JUBILEE
The Jubilee Committee is looking for early members of the parish, from 1968 – 1972.  We are having a Founders Luncheon in June and want to include all who were a part of the original congregation.  The resources we are using are limited, so if you have not received an invitation by May 16, and you were here in that time frame, contact the office.  Also, if you have any stories to share, please write them down and bring them to the luncheon.

CHANGE FOR LIFE CAMPAIGN
The Pro-Life Committee will be collecting your spare Change for Life (or larger donations) after all Masses this weekend.  This fundraiser benefits Lake County Right to Life which does important outreach and education to defend the vulnerable unborn in our area.  The office is located on Mentor Ave. in Mentor, behind Mosack’s Religious Books.  They share valuable resources and information to help increase the awareness of the preciousness of each human life.  Thank you for your generous donations today!

REST IN PEACE
Richard C. Herendeen, Cousin Joseph Sironen. Our sincere sympathy and prayers are with your family and friends.

CATHOLIC CHARITIES APPEAL
Next weekend, we will be participating in an important Follow-Up Parish Appeal for Catholic Charities.  Funds raised through this effort will be used to expand treatment and prevention services to fight the opioid crisis that has a grip on our families, friends and communities.  In 2017, nearly 1,200 people in our diocese died of drug overdoses.  With your help, Catholic charities will be able to expand their reach into every county and provide help and hope to those suffering from addiction.  DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT! All new, increased and additional gifts returned in the In-Pew envelopes next weekends or donated online at www.CatholicCommunity.org/Challenge will be matched up to $100,000.  Contact Karen Joyce at 216-696-6525 ext. 1910 with questions.  Thank you for making a  difference.
