PILGRIMAGE OF OUR BLESSED MOTHER 
Father George would like to continue the pilgrimage of our Blessed Mother. Families can take a statue of our Blessed Mother home for a week and pray that she will intercede, on behalf of the family, with her Son – Jesus Christ.  For more information or to schedule a week for your family please call Linda 440-205-1954 or leave your contact information with Father George or one of the deacons before or after Mass.  You may also call parish office 440-259-2344 ext. 3 

PERRY CENTER WISH LIST
The Perry Center is our local food pantry supported by the churches in our community and private donations.  For the month of July, The Perry Center is requesting Beef Stew.  There are boxes located at each entrance of our church.  Thank you for helping those in need in our community.

PASSING ON VALUES OF FAITH & FAMILY 
The theme for The FEST this year is Generations of Faith and Family – what better way to pass on values of faith and family than by spending time together in service?  As we prepare for an amazing day of faith, family and fun on Sunday, August 4, consider signing up to volunteer with your family.  There are opportunities for everyone to be a part of this great day!  For more information and to sign up, visit www.theFEST.us/volunteer.  There’s something for every age and generation at The FEST.  Check out the website to learn more about the amazing bands and over 150 activities, crafts and displays that will be at The FEST – www.theFEST.us. 

GRIEFSHARE PROGRAM
St. Bede Church is hosting a GriefShare program July 31- Sept. 25, Wednesdays 7-9 p.m.  This Christian-based program offers guidance, support and encouragement to those dealing with the death of a loved one. Work books $20, Scholarships available. RSVP 257-5544.  

ST. VITUS PARISH SUMMER PICNIC
St. Vitus Parish will have its annual parish picnic on July 14 at Slovenska Pristava, a recreational facility located in Harpersfield.  There is no admission or parking charge.  Mass will be at Noon in the main pavilion.  Dinner will be served immediately after Mass and will consist of roasted chicken and/or roast beef with all the trimmings.  Cost is $15 adult and $10 children under 12.  Entertainment will include the Cleveland Tops Swing Band.  The kitchen will be open until 8 p.m. serving side food dishes such as hamburgers, hot dogs, etc. as well as having refreshments available throughout the entire afternoon. Other activities include swimming (nominal fee for non-members of Slovenska Pristava), children’s games and Chinese craft raffle.  Contact Stane Kuhar 216-361-1444 with questions.

ALL SOULS CEMETERY PRE-PLANNING SEMINAR
The Catholic Cemeteries Association invites you to attend a 1-hour pre-planning seminar on Saturday, July 13 at 1 p.m.  at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.  Learn in a group or discuss one-on-one with a Family Service Representative and receive a free Personal Reference Guide.  Light refreshments will be served.  RSVP 216-641-7575 ext 4

ONLINE GIVING
Forms are available on the church windowsills if you are interested in an electronic option for making your regular weekly offering.  Contributions can be automatically debited from your checking or savings account.  If you are currently giving on a weekly basis, you will no longer need to write out 52 checks a year.  This program will allow your weekly or monthly contributions to continue on an uninterrupted basis when travel, illness or other circumstances prevent you from attending Mass. Forms can be placed in the basket at Mass or given to Father George or one of the deacons.

THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE SUMMER!
Every year after The FEST dozens of emails are received expressing how much they enjoyed the annual Catholic Family FESTival and how it was the ‘highlight’ of their summer.  Don’t miss out on Sunday August 4th as we come together for The FEST from 12 until 10 p.m. at the CPL (28700 Euclid Avenue).  Come hear great music from Jordan Feliz, Tenth Avenue North, Matt Maher and Casting Crowns along with great activities and displays for the entire family.  There’s plenty of free parking and affordable food thanks to Executive Caterers and Marc’s.  It’s all FREE.  Go to www.theFEST.us for details, parking instructions and complete schedule of the day.  Invite EVERYONE you know to join you at The FEST!  There’s something for every age and generation at

COMMEMORATIVE GLASSES
There are still Jubilee books and commemorative glasses for our 50th Jubilee celebration available! These are 9 oz glasses with St. Cyprian Jubilee printed on one side and a sketch of our church on the other.  The glasses are on display in our new showcase near the elevator.  Glasses are available for $5 each or 4 glasses for just $15.     

MOVIE NIGHT IN PERRY
In our community we have a Movie night on Tuesday, July 16th down at Perry Township Park. Inflatable Slide and Giant games will start at 6:30 pm and run until the movie at 8:30 pm. We will be featuring the movie “The Secret Life of Pets”. Free popcorn will be available.  Concessions will be available for purchase. Bring your own lawn chairs & blankets.
